Thank you for considering CL Becker Photography for your family photography needs! A photo session is about so much more than taking pictures; it's about preserving moments and creating memories for you and your family. Memories can fade, but photos will take you back to that place in time over and over. I’m a strong believer in building your family archive of photos, and quality photography is the foundation of that archive.
I believe in creating a relaxed, fun atmosphere at my sessions that will bring out the best in everyone. When I photograph people, it’s about looking for emotion in the image. My goal is always to bring out the love found within your family, and the connection shared between people. And I promise I won’t make you say cheese.

What Should We Wear?
It's important to put some thought into what you and your family will wear. Family photos look best when everyone has coordinated their clothing and colors! It doesn't need to be a uniform, but just that everyone blends well together.
It's best to stick with solid colors or clothing with a very light pattern that coordinates with everyone's color scheme. Avoid very busy patterns and logos as these will take attention away from the subject.
It's also helpful to have clothing that can be layered: cardigans, wraps, scarves, or jackets. Accessories can help give another look to the photos.
Glasses can present challenges in photos, so if at all possible, I recommend wearing contacts or removing your glasses for the session.
Clothing should be comfortable and make you feel good. Ultimately, I want you and your family to be as relaxed and comfortable as possible, so choose outfits that will help you feel this way!
